Premarital Counselling
Prepare for marriage before you have to repair it.
Marriage preparation should involve more than choosing a venue, preparing a guest list and planning a future together.
Before two people enter a marriage, they should have meaningful conversations about what marriage actually means.
Premarital counselling at Baṣirah Care provides a structured space for couples to explore those questions before entering married life.

What We Explore
What Does Marriage Actually Mean?
We explore marriage beyond cultural expectations and romantic ideals.
What are the intentions behind marriage?
What does it mean to enter a covenant with another person?
What rights and responsibilities exist?
What should spouses expect from one another?
Conflict & Conflict Resolution
Conflict is not necessarily a sign that a marriage is failing.
The important question is how a couple responds when they disagree.
The goal isn't to create a marriage without disagreement. It is to help couples develop the tools to navigate disagreement constructively.
Intimacy
Marriage includes emotional, physical and intimate dimensions.
Premarital counselling creates a respectful environment to discuss expectations and responsibilities surrounding intimacy within the framework of Islamic teachings.
A Separate Service
Fiqh of Intimacy
For detailed questions regarding the fiqh of intimacy, clients can separately book a dedicated Fiqh of Intimacy session, facilitated separately for men and women.
